So, anybody who reads this is probably wondering "Where the hell is Dan?" - well fear not, I'm still here.

Basically, the house I'm living in is pretty flimsy. The walls are as thin as tissue paper and so recording can be a bit of a bitch, because I don't want to be disturbing my housemates all the time with my wailing.

That isn't the only reason though. Until recently I've had a bit of a creative dry spell but in the last couple of weeks, it's been coming back again. I have three songs in the pipeline which, fundamentally are all complete and I've got some ideas down for the fuller, recorded version. I'm going to test them at open mics in the Sheffield area, and maybe try getting some gigs at local pubs.

Until then all I can offer you is the classics, but fear not: I have neither given up nor died, and I'm really excited to get back onto recording ASAP. It just won't be easy, since I need to choose my recording sessions carefully.

If anybody has any ideas for how I could find a good place to record please let me know, because I can't be the only person in this situation.
